Saturday, April 6th, 2013marked the 5th anniversary of Milwaukee’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks. Thousands of families came to the BMO Harris Bradley Center, the new indoor home of Milwaukee’s Walk Now for Autism Speaks and the home of NBA’s Milwaukee Bucks! Families, friends and corporate teams walked for autism awareness, to raise funds for autism research, and to unite the Wisconsin autism community. Each student submitted an application and two letters of recommendation to our selection committee. The top candidates (1 male and 1 female) will receive $1,000 from Heiser to help them continue their education.
